BOOKS AND MOVIES BLOG, Week of April 28, 2014
Before seeing a movie based on a book, read the book. This way, you form your own images of the characters, places, and events. Almost invariably, these are better than what the movie-makers’ budget, technology, and imagination could produce. If you see the movie first, your mind has been pre-empted by the movie’s images. You see the story through other people’s eyes instead of your own, which impoverishes your experience.
This looks G-R-E-A-T, Diana!

Very impressive! Can’t wait to see more of your writing–maybe one of your excellent short stories or poems in your blog. Love the cheerful color you chose too.

Thank you, Graham. And thank you for creating an attractive website. Looking at it makes me feel good.
